ABOUT SCD
Street Corner Dance is a hip-hop focused dance studio in Perth, built on authenticity, foundations, and community. We focus on groove, foundations, freestyle, and the core principles of street dance culture, helping dancers build strong fundamentals and genuine self-expression.
We offer structured classes for adults and kids, alongside workshops, jams, and community events that connect our studio to the wider hip-hop dance scene. Street Corner Dance regularly collaborates with respected international artists such as Loose Joint (New York) and oSaam (Japan), bringing real hip-hop knowledge and global perspectives into our local community.
We also host B-Style Jam, an underground hip-hop event that brings dancers, DJs, and creatives together through music and shared culture. Street Corner Dance is a space to train, connect, and grow while staying true to the roots of hip-hop.
Book your Hip hop - Street dance class
We teach all-level adult classes focusing on each style’s foundations, practising moves and steps and training on movements variations.
Beginners can learn new moves and more advanced keep on practicing their dance foundations (always!).
We teach Hip Hop, House, Locking, Popping and Choreo.
HIP HOP KIDS CLASS
Hip Hop Kids class for kids from 5 to 12 year-old.
Kids learn the basics - bounce, rock, skate, rolls - along with classic party dances, all in a fun and supportive environment.
A great program to improve the young ones’ coordination and rhythm while building their confidence and self-expression.
