Our Salsa Solo Beginner Course is designed for complete beginners who want to learn the foundations of Salsa in a fun, welcoming and pressure-free environment. No partner needed!
Unlike traditional partner Salsa classes, Salsa Solo focuses on learning the movement, rhythm, timing and footwork individually. This allows students to build confidence and develop strong foundations before dancing with others if they choose to.
Whether you've never danced before or are looking to try something new, this course is the perfect place to start.

Over the course, you'll be introduced to the core elements of Salsa dancing, including:
Basic Salsa timing
Fundamental footwork patterns
Rhythm and musicality
Body movement and coordination
Turns and directional changes
Confidence moving to salsa music
Each week builds on the previous lesson, helping students progress step-by-step.

Originally from Chile, Carito is a passionate Latin dance instructor, choreographer, and performer with over 15 years of experience in dance. She has trained and competed internationally, learning from some of the most recognized artists in the Latin dance world.
Now based in Perth, Carito specializes in Salsa, Bachata, Ladies Styling, and Latin fusion, bringing energy, technique, musicality, and confidence to every class. Her teaching style focuses on creating a supportive and fun environment where students can develop their skills while enjoying the social and cultural aspects of Latin dance.
