Teen Hip Hop Classes in Perth Ages 13–18 · West Perth
A dedicated Hip Hop class for teenagers who want to learn the foundations, build confidence and develop their own way of moving.
Learn real Hip Hop foundations, at your own pace, with no pressure to perform.
Street Corner Dance is Perth's only studio built entirely around authentic Hip Hop culture. We start with the basics, groove, rhythm, coordination, and build from there. Freestyle isn't something you're thrown into; it's something you grow into, one step at a time.

Why Teens Train With Us
This class is built specifically for 13–16 year olds — not squeezed in between a kids class and an adult one. That means:
Training with peers their own age — not younger kids, not adults
Zero pressure to perform or compete — progress happens at their own pace
Freestyle introduced gradually, only once the foundations feel solid — never sprung on anyone
A genuine Hip Hop foundation they can take anywhere — socials, or just moving to music with friends
FAQs
Do you need dance experience? No. Beginners are genuinely welcome — most students start with zero experience.
What should they wear? Comfortable clothing and sneakers suitable for movement.
How do I book? Book online via the links above. Having trouble? Email or call us and we'll sort it out.
Is this Breaking (breakdancing)? No — this is Hip Hop freestyle, the style popularised by crews like Elite Force Crew (NYC) in the 80s and most commonly taught as "Hip Hop" today. Both Breaking and Hip Hop freestyle are part of Hip Hop culture, just different dance styles.
Is it choreography? No. We teach Hip Hop Foundations — the fundamental building blocks — step by step. Freestyle grows out of that naturally over time; nobody's put on the spot before they're ready.
